01What Table Goblin Is

Table Goblin is an independent, fan-made utility that helps a Discord server run tabletop sessions using the Pathfinder Second Edition rules — character sheets, initiative and combat tracking, loot, maps, and settlement tools. It is a piece of software offered for the convenience of game tables, not a publisher of game content and not a party to any game you run with it.

Table Goblin is not produced, endorsed, sponsored, or specifically approved by Paizo Inc. Pathfinder and associated marks are trademarks of Paizo Inc., and any game rules the bot references are used under the terms of the applicable open game licenses. References to Pathfinder rules, terms, or mechanics exist solely to make the bot useful to players and Game Masters of that system.

03Content Provided As Is

Rules text, statistics, item and monster data, and anything else the bot displays or generates are provided on an as-is, as-available basis, without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular table's use. Table Goblin is a reference and bookkeeping aid, not a substitute for the official rulebooks — when the bot and a published rule disagree, the Game Master's judgment and the official text govern the table, not the bot's output.

Where the bot's AI-assisted features generate narrative text, descriptions, or suggestions, that content is produced automatically and is offered for entertainment and convenience only. We do not guarantee it will be accurate, appropriate, or free of errors, and a table remains responsible for whatever it chooses to use from it.

04Your Content and Data

Character sheets, campaign records, encounter state, loot, and any other information you or your table enter through the bot's commands remain yours. By using Table Goblin, you grant it the limited permission it needs to store, process, and display that information back to your table as part of operating the service. We do not claim ownership over anything you create through it.

You are responsible for what you and your table submit to the bot, including making sure it doesn't include content you don't have the right to share.

05Acceptable Use

Table Goblin is meant to run alongside a Discord server in good standing. Use of the bot must comply with Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. We reserve the right to limit or remove the bot's access to a server, channel, or user we reasonably believe is using it to abuse, disrupt, or circumvent Discord's own rules, or to attempt to interfere with the bot's normal operation.

06The AI GM Feature

Table Goblin offers an optional AI Game Master feature that a table may choose to enable. Details of what that feature reads and sends are covered in our Privacy Policy — enabling it is an explicit choice by your table, not something turned on by default.

07Availability, Changes, and Discontinuation

Table Goblin is developed and hosted as an independent project. We may update, modify, or temporarily or permanently discontinue any command, feature, or the service as a whole, at any time, with or without notice. We aren't liable to you or your table for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

08Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Table Goblin — including a lost character sheet, a disrupted session, or a rules dispute at your table.

09Termination

You may stop using Table Goblin at any time by removing it from your server. We may suspend or terminate a server's, channel's, or user's access to the bot for conduct that violates these terms or Discord's own policies.

10Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision, and continuing to use Table Goblin after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
